Duane Thompson, better known as Baby D, is a New York-based rapper who has made a name for himself as a core member of the Savage Patch Kids (SPK) under the Real Shit Entertainment (RSE) label. A close friend and collaborator of Con Star, Baby D brings gritty, street-focused narratives to his music, often drawing from his own experiences. His debut album 'Locked Up' gives a raw and introspective look at his life, particularly his repeated incarcerations and the harsh realities of selling drugs and the associated violence. Despite his legal challenges, Baby D has built a strong following, particularly in his hometown of New York, and has performed at many major hip-hop festivals.
